We have worked incredibly hard during lockdown to ensure that your return to the salon is safe. We have installed a new treatment pod and secret garden for those who are vulnerable; this area has its own entrance and means that these clients will not need to enter the salon and will be able to have their treatment one to one with their therapist without the worry. If you would like to book the pod for your treatment please let us know.
A big thank you to local business Asset Fire Solutions who carried out our reopening checks; and to our very own Sarah who has designed and made protective screens for our beds.
Our Team have used their time wisely and have carried out additional training during lockdown to ensure everyone is working safely.
Things will be slightly different on your return to the salon, your safety and that of our team is paramount but we want to ensure that relaxation and leaving your worries at the door is still high on our agenda. We are still the same Team SS under all that PPE.
Additional time between treatments has been allocated for cleaning down the rooms before the next client arrives. This has reduced our appointment times slightly so we do ask if you have a special date in mind let us know with plenty of notice.
New Salon Procedures
When you arrive at the salon
Please arrive at the salon at your treatment time.
Sadly late arrivals will have their treatment time reduced.
Please wait at the door for your therapist to collect you.
Please come alone to your appointment and with minimal belongings

On entering the salon
Your temperature will be taken and noted down
we will ask you to sanitise your hands and wear a mask (We have masks but do ask you to bring your own).
You will be taken straight to your treatment area.
Our therapists will be using the appropriate PPE.
Clients will be seen one to one with our therapists in designated areas to ensure we stick to social distancing.
The rooms are cleaned after each client with an in-depth cleaning procedure.
We no longer have reading material but you are welcome to bring your own.
To save time in the reception area we may offer to call you at the end of the day to rebook the next appointment. If you are one of the organised ones please leave us your dates and times and we will rebook you.
Please consciously observe social distancing with other clients and staff during your visit.
Our bathroom will be available to use but we ask that all clients wash their hands and then let a member of staff know.

What are we doing?
Our team have completed extra training in new hygiene measures and social distancing
All of our team will be using the appropriate PPE
Some treatments will be carried out from behind a screen.
Some treatments may require the use of gloves
Additional automatic hand sanitisers will be available around the salon.
Cleaning between clients has allocated time.
High touch areas such as door handles and banisters will be cleaned every 20-30mins
The card machine will be cleaned after each use
We have disposable glasses and cups for drinks.
We have removed all reading material but you are welcome to bring your own.
Although that this seems a lot we can ensure you that the Secret Spa experience will still be at the same standard.
